Welcome to Synergy Tao.
I began martial arts around the early 2000s, starting in Kickboxing, Muay Thai boxing, and finally Wing Chun. after teaching under the Wing Chun International banner as WCI Telford I founded Synergy Tao to represent my background, education, training and philosophy.
Synergy Tao means The way of synergy.
It represents a philosophical and practical approach to all things where Balance and co-operation between forces, ideas and methodologies lead to an outcome greater than the idividual parts. I promote Balance, Flow, Strength, and Peace through that way synergy.
I have an extensive experience of front line policing and thereby the application of law. I retired from policing to teach Wing Chun Kung Fu having been awarded my SiFu title and qualification by Master Andrew Cameron.
I continue to keep my own training up to date with Master Cameron and I train regularly with instructors and students from around the world, I also study in Qigong. I bring my knowledge, skill and legal knowledge to my students with a passion for unlocking their full potential.
I teach Wing Chun in a way which honours tradition but keeps up with changing times. I teach in a respectful, ego free, friendly environment where everybody feels welcome and know that they can progress within the system.
I work closely with my senior technicians to ensure students of all levels benefit from their combined talents and have even seen some of them qualify as Sifu's in their own right.
